Renowned UK-born Chef Nelly Robinson is set to make a splash at InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort this September, joining the culinary team at the luxury resort. With his well-accoladed restaurant ‘NEL’ in Sydney, Chef Nelly Robinson has earned praise from The Guide Michelin and Gault & Millau for his innovative and locally inspired dishes.
Having started his culinary journey at the age of 15 at the Michelin-starred Northcote Manor in the UK, working under esteemed chef Nigel Haworth, Robinson developed a deep appreciation for local and seasonal ingredients early on. At 22, he became the head chef at Stanley House before eventually moving to Sydney, where he opened ‘NEL’ at the age of 29.
